 I used two items put together, one was a triangle that my grandmother gave me before she passed, and then I used my necklace. I used my side off flash for the lighting and stuck a blue vase behind the plastic triangle so it could reflect through for the light and to give the other beads a burst of color.. I used Lightroom only and Vivesa to add contrast, a bit of warmth and Back to lightroom for a bit of clarity..

interesting image, doesn't really say pattern to me as its very random, im not sure why but my eyes are drawn to the out of focus area over the sharp crisp part, maybe that has to do with not having distinct subject shape to key on.

The image is beautifully lit. Not sure that it feels the challenge as much as I'd like it to but it's a nice image regardless.
