 I personally hand-crafted this toothpick camera.. I used one full box of toothpicks and craft glue. For the Camera Body, I used a mac and cheese box, cut it down to 1/4 size and then glued the toothpicks on the box... for the toothpick lens, I took the cardboard from the toilet paper roll and cut that down to size and then covered that with toothpicks.... My daughter graciously allowed me to use her bear as a prop for this shot. Lightroom was used only for editing, cloning, adding contrast/shadows, small cloning of a few spots of wet glue and clarity added as well as a warming tint.
This was really fun to do because I was able to combine both of my favorite hobbies: crafting and photography together. I can really get into these kind of challenges! Awesome suggestion! Hope you enjoyed my entry.

critique club:

the problem i have with this image is i dont know what it is without reading your description, you also have some sharpening artifact going on and the toothpick edges are jagged and could use some anti aliasing.

This was a cute shot! For what my opinion is worth, I think you probably wouldâve done better had the âcameraâ been facing your camera, as if weâre actually seeing the bear taking the picture. Or something similar to that effect.
I think you went pretty creative with this though, which is great! Good job :)

Took me a minute to realize that it was supposed to be a camera made out of toothpicks but I quite like the idea. Cute.
