Gorgeous bird captured in an alert, pert pose, jaunty on its textured perch, this is the standout avian shot. The simple, harmonious background branches and leaves set the subject off most pleasingly. My second favorite.

Very pretty bird, lovely dof, love the diagonals of the branches and to have them repeated by the tail is super. Nice one. 9

That bird has ATTITUDE! And gorgeous color. The vertical composition really emphasizes that upright tail.
