Two wild, free, black bear cubs. 08/26/14 3:22pm. Canon 5Dmk3, Canon EF400mm f/5.6L USM, f/5.6, 1/400s, ISO 1600, lens focal length 400mm. Tripod mount, shutter release cable.
Truly an autobiographical photograph about which I care deeply. My favorite endeavor is wildlife photography. These cubs deserve to survive.

In response to [user]Bear_Music[/user]'s comment, I read the challenge description very carefully. It says the earth WILL be obliterated, not that it has already happened. This photo shows wild animals in the wilderness… something that all should treasure, in retrospect or currently. If we were to lose the wildness, then I would long for what we once had. |

Seems odd to title it that way, since the premise is that the earth has been obliterated :-( Still, it's a wonderful image, and I'm not dinging for titles anymore... For the record, I gave this an 8...
