My Moriarty!!

I had absolutely no free study entry. I didn't shoot anything this month, except for some challenges. And didn't have any outtakes I could use. (had this for an outtake of 160 pixels:



but people hate outtakes. And even if I got rid of the extreme cropping, it's still an outtake. :)

So last minute, I tried some Mo shots. I've really loved this shot on 1x.com and I wanted to see if I could work that type of lighting to that effect.

However, one difficulty was: No cat wrangler around, so a cat toy in one hand and the camera in the other while shooting. :)

Another difficulty wass: when my photoshop crashes, it resets to factory defaults. One of which being: A very dark grey background. So sometimes when I bring things into DPC, the tones just aren't right for the light grey background and things look very wrong. I actually liked one of these shots better (when viewed in photoshop on the darker background)



But it wasn't right here. Of course, I ran out of time to try to modify it in PS. So my entry is the current entry.

just enough detail in the black fur. love the highlights on the whiskers and the little shock of white on the chest
