A visit from the Critique Club :)

Interesting, I like the composition, it's not dead center, it has appealing lines which provide both contradiction and symmetry to me.

The colors are plain and simple. I feel I could definitely see this photo in the paper for some kind of an article, but, it needs the story.

I feel that this photo is missing a link to a good story. It's simple, abstract but does not have a story behind it. For example, the title you gave it links to the image but even there, we could do choose a different more suitable title like "Stock Market in a slump, dead end for investors?" or something similar.

I think technical quality is superb, but artistic value is only mediocre.

Very simple, but highly impressive! I like such shots. Composition and cropping are well done, there is nothing to criticize... -9

Nice neat and clean image, good colour.

This is a nice shot though I feel that it should be a bit more direct on the sign.

I like the simple colors and the contrasts they yield. Strong composition as well. The sign gives the eye somewhere comfortable to rest.

Nice contrasting colours and well composed with the top of the sign coming level with the top of the frame.

The color is great, very bold and graphic shot.

Nice angle here, I like the clean background, and the way you didn't shoot straight on. Very nice use of blank space as well. I really like this picture, because of the clean look to it. Even though it's not extremely exciting I really think this is a great photo. My first -10- Nice job, and good luck!

alright, finally, a crisp, clear, nice background sign pic. I like the framing in this as well.

Great photo. 9 from me.

The colours and exposure are near perfect. I would have liked to see what lay beyond the "dead end" sign though.

Funny, I really liked the angle of the sign in this shot. I am also glad you included the whole sign too. At first I was thinking there was just too much open space, put after using envelopes to imitate cropping, I like the open space. If it was cropped then the sign would be dead center and that just doesn't work too well. The color contast between the bright blue and yellow are great also. Good crisp focus. I guess the only draw back in my mind that it is kinda boring, but then street signs as a subject is fairly boring also.8.
