 I struggled and struggled to make an idea happen. I love poetry, but my brain is not very good at it and this poem, to me, seemed very mystical. Indeed as my husband was helping me along he asked "How does it end" because I had only read the first two paragraphs to him. To be honest I'm still not 100% sure I understand how it ends.

But the poem is really beautiful, and when I reread about the sensual music I thought of my old piano. Then, somehow, a shot that represented a dying generation, a young couple in love, and music all came together and I really liked it. (I even shot totally in Manual to help with creating some mood lighting.)

I have no idea if anyone else will enjoy my image. (I suppose because the photos on the piano are dear to my heart helped create the pleasure for me. On the piano is where these image sit - the piano is not in tune so doesn't actually get played. Photos of the rest of my husband's and my family sit on top of the piano.) But I had fun creating this shot and working for a bit of special lighting is not something I have really experimented with much before.

I like the overall old-timey feel of the photo and the interpretation of the challenge, but the crop seems a bit tight and I think it might have benefitted by at least including all of the framed photo on the right, if not all of the piano.
