Since Ive already seen this would it be fair to vote on it especially considering I liked the other shot better...hmmm lol, fine (just commenting) as Lydia would "used" to say

Tablecloth lines take away so much. Don't need them square, but converging like this doesn't work for me. Plate placement and overall composition feels very off. Could have been real nice but a 5 for me as is.

I wouldn't have included the edge of the tablecloth here. It gives the setting a kind of uneasiness like you might not feel comfortable sitting down there to eat.

Also, a lit candle and some silverware might have complemented the subdued light/pasta-eating atmosphere you've got going. Maybe even some backlighting just for the glass bottles - they look great with backlighting. More so in color, but with the right tweaks that could help you even in B&W.
