Challenge: Camera Phone Free Study III (Advanced Editing VII*)

I wanted something difficult with a camera phone. Anyone can go find a flower, make it fill the frame, and done. Sure, that's beautiful, but how much are you learning about your phone (which is what I find important about a challenge like this).
I tried low light scenes, I tried scenes into the bright sun, I tried semi macro scenes. Nothing was really killing it for me.
Then I happened upon this scene while driving with the girls, and I had to shoot it. Of course, I first shot with my DSLR, because I wanted a "good" photo result. Then I put that down, grabbed the iPhone, set it to HDR mode, and framed the shot. Coming home and editing, I found that I had a shot I could really be proud of from my phone. |
