| I like the softness in contrast to the hard, diagonal shapes of the birds-of-paradise, but I think a different crop or positioning could have improved the composition. Also, there seems to be some kind of pattern overlay in the out-of-focus areas that I'm not fond of. |

| Such a subtle image and processed just as the man himself would have done. Nice low contrast with some lovely duotone colors showing through the shadows and highlights. |

| Birds of paradise! When we were little, my aunt had a bunch of these growing in her yard and I and a bunch of other kids would pick them and pretend they were powerful wands. She never did figure out who kept picking them. But I digress... This is beautifully understated. I love that lone fallen stalk in contrast with the others. 7 |
