| A subtle beauty that finished much higher in my list. Perhaps it was too subtle for hurried voters that didn't linger quite long enough to appreciate it. |

| Elegantly done. Very soft and feathery processing. Can't make up my mind if the embroidery adds or subtracts from the shot? Nonetheless, one of my top scores! |

| It's a cool concept, and the subtlety of the way the face is visible is nice, but I think I would have preferred a smooth cloth or possibly having the embroidered side where the shadow is. |

Initially didn't see the face, until I read the title and paid more attention ,
very subtle and lovely portrait |
