The relation with the challenge "school days" is the graduation hat, can You see it? |
Yes, I can see a hat but there's no way I would label it a "graduation hat". It's more like a beret. A graduation hat is a mortar board. |
Different countries different graduation boards... this was a difficult exam and only few passed ;) |

Bottom of the Pack Analytical Comments
Every challenge I am going to leave comments on some of the photos that finished at the bottom of the pack. I will try and explain why I think the photo did not do well in the challenge, which will hopefully result in increased rankings in your future photos.

1) Lots of voters have uncalibrated monitors, and if they are set too dark then they wouldnn't be able to see a lot of the detail in the darker areas of the photo.
2) The border is part of the presentation of the photo so can affect the votes. A black or white or grey border is more neutral and will result in less people voting down due to it.
3) A lot of voters regard using toys in photos as an 'easy way out' or 'amateur'. Photos of toys rarely do very well.
4) Your photo is hard to associate with the challenge without your title. If your title has to explain the photo, then a lot of people will vote it down. The photo should speak for itself. |

I wanted to make some funny point about graduation, after studying 20 years of your life something You end up working in something totally different... I feel graduation events at schools are like clowns in circus... I did not have a clown at home but I had something similar: my SantaClaus doll... aquarium was another ridiculus subject also.
What I do not understand is why people does not like shadows in pictures, why they want to see all the details?
Anyway, I think this picture shows how difficult is setup properly the white balance and exposition when You use different sources of light...
Thanks for your comments, I got also a nice time laughing with them :)

May want to make sure that your furnace does not have a carbon monoxide leak. |

I think this is a very big stretch at meeting the challenge. As far as the photograph goes, the subject is not interesting, but that̢۪s just my opinion. The lighting is not good and the focus is soft. I would suggest more lighting on the Santa with white lighting. Seems as if the white balance is off. |

This photo is very dark on my screen, apart from the aquarium bit, and the bit at the top. Can't really see what's going on in it.l |

More light on Santa would lift this photo. |

A bit underexposed and hard to tell what is going on. Probably a good concept though. |

This idea is a little difficult to connect with the challenge. Maybe an alternate subject or additional subjects could bring out the message better. |
