this is a nice shot, darren. you might consider going back and shooting it at f/22 with a long (20-30 second) exposure. you'll be surprised at how much more detail comes out in the brick work. also, at iso 100, there shouldn't be that much noise as to detract from the atmosphere the grain would add. |

Great shot! Love the tones and contrast you have here. Really captures the atmosphere of your "local high street"!
Have rated this shot highly. Hope it does well! |

Is this in New Orleans? No matter - it is a wonderful shot. I like the use of the star filter here (assuming) and I like the simplicity. Maybe a hair too much noise reduction for my personal taste but since it's not my shot, who am I to tell you what you should have done? I just think a touch of grain would have lent this image more realism. Good job :-) |

Really nice work here, old street in Paris? ;-) Focus throughout, and the street light really add to the atmosphere. |

it's nice and dreamy. well composed. the lines take the eyes to the tower in the background. It makes me want to look a bit longer.
Nice job, man |

nice use of sepia here. I like the urban feel of the shot, and the near absense of people. i find the glare on the street lights a little over powering - not sure how to avoid that really as i guess a shorter exposure time might make the overall final result very dark. but it's a very likeable shot that screams nice Continental European town to me. 7. |

I really like the feel of this shot. Nice composition. Good eye. The only thing that I would change would be to remove all those cars. He He. I know that is completely out of your control, but wouldn't this be great with no cars. |
