 Not a lot of choices for a macro shot that has not been done before. Setup was not too difficult, I stuck the needle on a pin cushion and basically try to do a shot as close to the needle as possible - focusing on the eye.

I like the composition of this one, the curve looks natural and complements the angle well.

The best of the needle and thread images in this challenge. This is a really tough subject to do well. Good focus and lighting. There seems to be a bit of noise in the image, but maybe that is just the texture on the needle. Good effort - 6 from me.
