 This is the face of a grandfather clock my Dad gave to me before he died in 2001. My mom gave it to him in 1986 as a gift because he loved clocks. It is a very treasured clock which I will one day pass on to one of my children.

Another one of those, not really macro shots in this challenge. If it was a watch instead of a grandfather clock it would have been a different story.
Wonderful image BTW. The colour, the details, the crop, everything. Too bad it's DNMC for this challenge.
