Very dissappointed to not see this shot do better. I think it's fantastic, great dynamic range, good composition, and so sharp for the smoke. I also don't dig the red frame, but still gave this shot an 8. Keep it up!

Try this with a cold hands and hand-held at 1/15 sec.
Though many didn't like the frame, I thought it needed definition.

Considering the hardware I was up against in this one, I am jazzed at taking a 5 year-old technology camera and getting results like this.

Really strong image. Sharp focus and interesting composition. However the red border is distracting and takes away from the image.

Very nice. Not a fan of the red border, but I like the style chosen for this shot. This may have been more interesting with an angled approach. Still, very nice.

Best fireworks in this challenge because they are so well in focus and you can see each little spark and the great trails of smoke. Color is great too.
