 Most weekday mornings I workout with a good friend and neighbor. His office has an exercise room on the 38th floor. I get to see a lot of sunrises from this vantage point. This particular morning there was a nice golden glow coming off the buildings. My camera was in my laptop case in my car 38 floors below me. So, I took out my iPhone and took a picture.

Not real Gurskyesque, but it was the closest I could come this week.

the detail is definitely Gurskyish... the light is gorgeous... just not sure about angle and perspective, but I like it well enough .. 7

A bit yellow, if the sky had been a bit more balanced, I think I would have liked this more.

As it is, you still have a pretty cool image, but for some reason (I have NO idea why, all the elements are here) this doesn't strike me strongly as being in the style of Gursky. I do love the details though - I think I wish you had pointed the camera down more, I want to see what's going on down there, on the streets.
