 So my wife made some apple pie. This was as close as a Thanksgiving dinner as we got in the past week. :-)

The recipe was my mother's and she brought it from the US where she was an exchange student in '69.

BTW the pie was delicious. The one on the photo is really the last slice. I was about to shoot it while it was still hot and melted on the inside but it was too late in the evening. The image would have been titled "The first slice of apple pie" then :-)

The contrast between the tablecloth and plate/pie/fork is nice, but I think slightly deeper DOF would have worked better.
