Photograph Information Photographer's Comments
Challenge: Night Shot II (Advanced Editing II)
Camera: Sony DSC-F717
Location: Livingroom
Date: Oct 17, 2004
Aperture: F3.2
ISO: 100
Shutter: 1 sec
Date Uploaded: Oct 17, 2004

First low light series had some real grain issues, so I reshoot on ISO 100 with a slow shutter... This meant 90% of the shots had blurred hands and faces flying every which way... This was one of the few unblurred.

Not much post processing at all... Kicked Saturation up 11 points and resized...

Very cute, but I don't think it is as challenging as you could have made this shot....

A different view on this challenge.

I'm not sure I agree with the interpretation of the challenge but really cute kids!

I like the colors, but how is the viewer to tell this was shot at night?

hmm, im sorry, i can award high marks on this. i see their ready for bed, but an indoor shot of kids for a nighttime challenge doesnt work too well.

Bedtime isn't a night shot in my book, so I'm voting this low. They're still absolute cutiepies, though!

Well i suppose this may have been taken 'at night' but i don't see any night in this image which i would have liked to. It is an ok portrait, but perhaps somewhat uninterestingly poses, or shot. it seems like the very first thing i would think of when taken a picture of someone in this position. perhaps a different, more obscure viewpoint would have made this image more interesting.

This is a beautiful photo, The colors are excellent and the kids are just precious.

Don't think this one fits the theme.

Maybe you took the picture after dark, but it doesn't show, nor represents the idea of night shot. I am affraid this picture will not score high. Anyway - good luck

Cute kids ready for bed. I like that. It's an innovative approach to the theme. Good luck.

Nice photo, but it's hard to tell that this photo was taken at NIGHT. I like the colors a lot.

How do I know this was after the sun went down? It could have been in the middle of the day.
