My favorite aspen grove on Bierstadt Moraine. 12/18/14 1:53 pm MST. Canon 5Dmk3, Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM, f/16, 1/40s, ISO 100, lens focal length 24mm. 5 images panorama stitched.

Definitely not an "eye-level" shot, as one person suggests. I was on a steep slope shooting uphill. Tilt shifted the image via perspective correcting software.
This is a 5 image stitched panorama.
The aspen grove is most likely 100 years old. It's near the end… and is transitioning to a coniferous forest. It's the natural cycle in the mountains. I would never apologize for showing the wilderness as it exists.

Harmony
Pretty tough to show colors in Colorado December, but I captured what was available. |

This is a beautiful scene, and would probably make a really nice HD panoramic print, just like Lik does :) |

I love this type of shot. Probably would have liked it better in b/w |

Looks like one that would make a good large print.
Not 100% fond of the diagonal tree branch, because in my opinion it distracts from the attractive pine trees at varying distances throughout the middle part. Not too bad, though, and it's just part of the scene. |

The eye level shot the distracting pines and dead trees don't really help this image. That being said I can feel the Lik in this image and this is the best of the pano's in my opinion. |

I think this is Lik's style 100%. Nicely taken. An 8 from me |
