It was intentional. I've really been trying to play with more of an old masters/rembrandt toning. Sometimes not quite that toning, but the yellows and the greens you find on some older paintings. Sometimes I manage to hit it, sometimes it's not quite there.

I should probably say , would be better if the main light source was the lantern

I agree with your daughter about her eyes. This is better.
One question: Was the greenish cast an intentional processing decision? The WB in the outtake image is very true, so I'm curious.

Nicely imagined, composed and lit. I might have liked to see more light from the lamp to support the illusion that that is what is lighting the subject. |
