Hey! Thanks guys for all your lovely comments and votes! This has come as somewhat of a surprise to me - I thought maybe TT but certainly not this!

Of course, this is my wonderful son; he certainly was in discovery mode that afternoon and kept coming over to me to show me his latest creature find. I've tried to nurture that sense of wonderment with the world in my kids; that afternoon definitely showed that even in the little things, wonder abounds!

Congrats on the blue Pam! Indeed the wonderment of children are treasured moments - love the golden light that illuminates his moment of discovery. I also love the details of the concentric rings in the water that radiate out from your son - it makes me think of the phrase I have heard that "children are the center of your universe."

I like this a lot. You may have worked a little too hard to blur some areas, but that is a minor distraction.
