 The bold new style of Modernism caught the attention, and the will, of the public, as individuals subsumed their own identities into simple brands. Why merely be when you can become? The long diverse history of the swastika becomes the ultimate call to conformism. The stained glass designs in an orphanage become the initials of Coco Chanel's name, and women all over the world aspire to become Chanel.

This triumph of the will was created with three photographs. A page of photographs of Dadaism as the background (for indeed, Dadaism is the background of Modernism), a photo of a Nazi flag and a photo of a Chanel logo.
