I like your shot - interesting rotation, good focus, nice negative space - but the Epson paper is completely distracting.

Innovative, maybe even better if the recorder had been 'holes up' too. Gowever I really like this, one of my top ten.

It is an interesting take, on a common image. And rotating the image in this way will probably get some interesting feedback.

I feel that if you had placed the recorder across the picture you would have achieved a more dynamic impact.

EPSON EPSON EPSON....Is it intended? Interesting angle, but personally I find it uneasy to look at. Great focus and DOF.

A neat idea/vantage point... although I would have tried to use something completely white on the right side so the "Epson" mark doesn't show up like that. Perhaps a different crop could have eliminated that.

I llike your choice of subject. However, I find the rotation odd, it just doesn't feel right to me. Also the watermark on the backgound paper (epson) draws undue attention--even without the words I think it would be better with less of that 1/4 of the picture showing.

Not a bad idea... I think the picture might have been better rotated to the original - this leaves my eyes falling down and to the right...

i almost didnt notice the epson photo paper in the background...but then i did. it really takes away here. some more lighting would also help. other than that it is a nice image, good focus

interesting photo....like the rotation...dont like the epson photo paper...really nice otherwise.

NOOOO make them stop!!! The recorder has to be the worst instrument ever. Good take on school. The epson paper is annoying however.

Your idea with turning makes it more interesting. Still would like there would be more lights and shades... also backround preferably without titles.

Is this at band camp???

Great depth of field, but the epson paper really detracts from the shot!

Your choice of view point is interesting. I'm not sure that I like it... then again I'm not sure that I don't either. In any event, I spent more time looking at this than most so I'm giving this a 6

Wow! Cool angle. I love the sense of depth. Good DOF too. My only problem is the epson background stuff, something else there and this would be one of my high picks.

the Epson paper on the right side detracts - also creates negative space making the phot feel unfinished - should it have been rotated 90 deg counter?

The perspective is intriguing and captures my interest, though I think I might prefer a 90 CCW rotate with the mouthpiece right there inviting me to practice. I'm afraid I missed the Epson connection and feel that that entire portion detracts from the image. I'd prefer it if the recorder wasn't flush against the edge of the sheet music, which would enacle you to use a black background. I think that would work better as would a tighter crop on that portion on the image. 5, just-married

I like this photo as music is such an important part of education. The colors are great, use of dof, rotation, and image crop are technically well executed. BUT, why the Epson paper as the background ? I think this may not place as well due to the background.

EPSON watermarks in the background. Should have used a different paper. Learning is definitly a subject here. I keep tilting my head to stop the flute from falling off the book.

Great idea. The "Epson" writing on the right is distracting.

Turn the picture 90 deg. counter clockwise and this picture would be much more intriguing.

Great depth and focus, but why the Epson paper for the background?

Uh, horisontal composition makes this image wild!

A strange and somewhat disconcerting angle.

if it wasn't for the background saying epson this would've been a really nice photo! good luck any way

This could have worked if your background didn't say Epson . . Epson . . Epson. It is a good idea with poor execution. I would suggest turning this shot portrait rather than landscape. The focus is a bit soft on the tip which is the focal point. Your focus seems to be clearest on the first ridge instead. Keep trying.
