Yet again, I didn't have anything and it was last minute. So I thought I'd try to be different and have some fun.

I bought this strange version of a kaleidoscope last year, and only tried it once. Shooting through it is difficult, because you have to hold it in front of your lens while you shoot. It only seems to work with the wide angle (10-22mm). It's hard to put a moving object in the middle, and very, very hard to focus.

I think it's a really cool effect, but it has a shallow depth of field on the outside stuff.

I'm working on my last minute stop action shot, but if I have time, I'll take a picture of the kaleidoscope. :)
