The trees were not on fire. It was autumn and the leaves caught the evening sun and to me looked really beautiful. They grow in a nursery and were standing about 5 or 6 deep with a plastic wall in the background which reflected the sun light to make it really "glow". The blur I got in camera.
I enhanced the colors with Topaz Restyle and that was pretty much all I did.
Probably not the type of image that appeals here :-) - you know, all that blur and stuff ;-). If it were "Expert" I could add a nice person or bird or deer or whatever in focus walking/flying through the forest, alas with Advanced it will just have to stay like this :-). What can I say, I like it as it is.

Please accept a Most Under Appreciated IMHO (aka MUAIMHOs) AWARD as a small consolation for your wonderful efforts in the Art Of 2014 challenge.

It's Ansel Adams with a difference. It's wonderful. Reminds me of an Australian summer, where bushfires ravage large swathes of land. You've triggered emotion and memory with this wonderful image, which alone makes it art, but you've done with with an aesthetically pleasing image that would look beautiful on a gallery or home wall.

I'm not a fan of most blurred stuff. This is an exception. Very nice.

Commenting only: I am a fan of this motion blur effect, and this is pretty well done. The color contrasts are most interesting here.
