I wish I could offer more than a guess as to what's going on here. It looks like a folded piece of cloth that somewhat suggests the head of a crow. Maybe it serves as an inkblot that the viewer can project his/her unconscious on. |

I have looked at this from different angles to see what I can see. What comes to mind is a posing hyena. A piece of art. |

I so wish I was not deficient in my colors. I can't see anything and it all looks black to me.. *pouts* Did not vote on this image.
I see some very soft lighted shading in the middle of this image, but that is about it.
My stupid color sight is stopping me to enjoy a potential awesome image- Sorry! I think this honored Ubique well.
I am sure Ubique would love this, it looks like his style. Darker things! |

Looks a bit more like in riger mortis, but I'll give you the benefit of the dead.
So then, it is definitely Don Giovanni. Don't argue. Just change your title. |

Well of course I love it because it's dark, it's weird to the point of madness, and it's got gorgeous Gothic tones. It's impossible to resolve comfortably; in fact discomfort is its middle name. And the older I get the more I look like Brando's Kurtz. And finally I really love sly titular allusions, as you obviously must have noticed, so it's a pretty good fit all round. Thank you. |

Darkness indeed. As an object, a study of dark, shade, little light and blur, I can see where the origins of this lie. But, as a communication act between me and it - there is little here for me to converse with. That's fine as an intent and I suspect it has been brought into being by a photographic sophisticate, but for me, I'm left with little. |

Even with The Google, I'm kind of at a loss as to what exactly tenebras cordis is. But I suppose I needn't really know. As for the photograph, I keep seeng a face try to emerge, and it's not happy. Dark and discordant. |
