It worked for me, I was the 10. |

I think the only connection is that Ubique's philosophy is he likes interesting photographs and the photographer found it interesting. We cannot know for sure what other people will find interesting, so we can only go with our own judgement. |

Your center composition, floating woman, and calm pool water encapsulate serenity. Nice! |

The joy of floating in water is that your ears fill and block out the sounds of the universe; such a relaxing feeling. Lovely contrast. |

No regard for prettiness in pose, where the accent could have been. All is in the feeling. I feel it. |

I don't know what the connection to ubique is. I find this photo a bit depressing because her dreams seem trapped in a chlorinated wasteland. |

In some ways a strange shot for this challenge but is I look at it as a photograph (as a discrete artefact) as opposed to the outcome of a process, I can begin to appreciate it a bit more.
The consistent and deep cyan background is very effective like a mounting background - your subject indeed floats within in it like a transient interloper. |

First thing that comes to mind is this is a gorgeous pregnancy shoot. Really soft and gentle - feels relaxing. |

This isn't my thing ( I mean photographically), but that's my problem and not yours. The pool's very clean though, and I do admire that. I don't mean to be flippant, by the way ... I simply do not like photographs in this style and I can't think of anything to say that softens that cruel judgement. Oh ... yes I can; lots more people will like it than will like the kind of gloomy rubbish that I produce, so at least I can say you're on the right track and I'm not. Thank you. |
