Challenge: Leading Lines VII (Advanced Editing VII) Date: Apr 3, 2015 Date Uploaded: Apr 7, 2015

The bird poop spots on this image was so bad, I had to spend 3hrs just cloning the spots out on the cement, cloning them out around the shadows on the ground was the most trickiest part of the editing, I was planning on leaving them in there, but DPCers would ding me for it because it looked like little dust spots and I am sure a few would call me out "get rid of those dust spots" LOL
After all of the cloning on the cement was done, an ND filter was added, and exposure adjustments were made all in lightroom, a bit of warmth. Still didn't get all of the little specks of bird poop, but hopefully, it is enough to where it doesn't ruin the image and it looks cleaner than it was. Finally, learned how to clone properly...
This is one of my favorite spots to go to watch all my wildlife in one spot especially my eagles, owls hawks and other wildlife. When I took that photo, I did not realize we had 2 immatures flying around at the same time and I was excited to see my immature eagle in the shot, Just wish I could have had him just a bit closer, but his placement I think was perfect where he was because the way he was flying he is almost a leading line in himself with his wings. I was not expecting that at all. I think having him there in the background was just that special touch to the image that it needed. One of my favorite entries to a challenge yet. I am very happy on how this came out no matter what the scoring. |

Too much processing involved here. The road is blurry, there's banding in the sky, artifacts around the edges of the bridge. It fits for 'leading lines', but the first thing I see is processing, not the photo. |

it leads me in, but it doesnt deliver me to anything, i dont like the halo'ing on the left hand rail and the small bird isnt enough interest in the picture. its very bland colour wise and would have suited b/w better and if youd have walked forward another 15' i think it would have been better for it, showing me the trees and the horizon. |
