Interesting photo, but why is it upside down? |

A WORLD UPSIDE DOWN,...Interesting perspective, Interesting question, but it does not evoke poverty for me. Itdoes however chalenge my perceptions, and for that I thank you. |

I would be nice if you could tie something else in to the theme of the title and the overall effect of the picture. Not sure but it seams to be missing something |

Woulda been cool if the drip stains were flowing down instead of up. ;-) Nice job. |

hmm.. I wanted to rate this lower, because I didn't like the upside-downness. Then as I was writing a comment about it making me dizzy, and it is hard to look at, I realized poverty is hard to look at too, and maybe that's the point. If this were 'rightside up' it would look like every other picture here, but you did something unique, and I've got to respect that. Also, I like the splatter on the wall that goes 'up'. Good job! |

The title gives a clue. But the picture itself looks better the way it was taken. I have downloaded it and rotated and really is not bad... This way does not really tell me much. Maybe I am too traditionalist. Other wise the composition is OK and a very good use of B&W. Good subject, too. |

Well, you have to be congratulated for taking chances. Personally, I find it hard to look at though. |

I dunno.. flipping the picture upside down may just confuse the issue. Now it's just sureal. I think it would have worked better rightside up, even with the title... |

I think it would be good even without turning. |

Great shot! I absolutely love the upside down image as it brings home your message. Most powerful image I've seen yet in the challenge. |

would have been a nice pic the right way around, it has mood, balance etc, but it hurts to look at it like this |
