This actually isn't representative of anything. My son doesn't work at a table, even though he should -- he works on couches or in bed. However, the late nights are a thing (although, I don't think he's made it to 4 AM yet. I guess that's for college. :)

But he does have his first 2 AP classes this year.

Btw, a blast from the past -- the large book is a giant atlas I bought for my husband many, many years ago. The page is open to the USSR. It's still bizarre that our children never knew the Soviet Union, when it seemed like such a looming presence when we were growing up.

The original shot was supposed to be him playing on his ipad with his feet up on the table with all the homework spread around.



But it wasn't quite right.
