 I know, I know... the background sucks. It was what I had to work with, though.

This is my beautiful friend Ida! She kindly agreed to model for me when this challenge was announced. Love that hair.

Lit from the left with, err... a crude softbox I made while waiting for my model. It might actually be the first softbox ever with its own skirt!

Very good technicals on this. The model appears to be on guard here. Perhaps she is an introvert which if that is so, then you captured her personality well. However some emotion would help the viewer build a connection to the image.

Gorgeous girl! I think maybe getting her to lift her chin up just a little might have improved the shot.
