A competently executed picture with a beautiful sense of depth reaching out into the scene (looks like a Frederick McCubbin painting). But it's a bit boring and passé. Why not try an original take on an Australian landscape? I can't get too excited about something I've seen a thousand times before, no matter how well crafted it is. 5. |
