This image has been awarded the Brunette pigtail award.
It speaks to me of times past, values from yesteryear, sacrifices of pioneers, people who worked the land to feed their families, horse-drawn wagons, and perhaps even of a young couple's stroll as they were going to and fro.
It is tranquil - a peaceful crossing, with the water gurgling gently beneath - uninterrupted by the hurry and scurry of modern life.

| This is one of those places you really wish they didn't have a sign - it seems so harsh and out of place compared to the serene and peaceful scene. |
