Hello from the critique club....
1st of all I will say that I have to disagree with the DNMC comment below. I don't see why this would not match the challenge. Now on to the pic. The lighting, even though it is very important for this shot was also a negative for me. It has hurt the overall shot due to the lack of detail towards the bottom of the shot. However, that being said the sky I love. It almost has a 3d look to it. What can I say....I'm a sucker for angry clouds.
On the lighting....I wonder if a filter and maybe a slightly longer shutter would have helped it out. Might be worth experimenting with. Happy shooting |

I still think it was a good shot for the challenge but now thinking if it were B&W you's have gained a host of DPC's other accolades ;) |

Well this finished too low. I loved the glow of light on the sign. The sky is beautiful too. |

Clever way of 'framing' a sign in the rays. |

Cool looking clouds. Not much else of interest in the composition, although the placement of the center sign in the glowing hole of the clouds might've worked if you'd had an assistant who could've illuminated the front of the sign to really tie it into the challenge topic. |
