Thanks a lot for your comments and for giving me a higher score, than this shot deserves. I like the motion blur of the birdie myself. It took about 20-30 shots, to get this IMHO satisfying result. But you are absolutely right with your criticism on the wrinkles in the background. I didn't realise this mistake while shooting. But unfortunately I didn't had the time to make it better with a new shot... |

Dang, I never would have thought of a tennis/badminton racket for my source of squares. Cute motion blur. The background looks a bit messy because of the wrinkles. Lovely bright colours. Good luck. Jacko. |

Very nice picture. Nice sharp focus on the strings. Good motion on the shuttlecock. Good lighting. Nice colours, as well. My pick for the winner. 10 |

I like the motion of the birdie. The squares are obvious and subtle at the same time. Great work. |

I really like this photo! It is very creative. How did you get to take such a clear photo in motion that way?? Very good concept of portraying squares! |

What a great shot. On my first run though voting I gave it a 7. On a more detailed review, I like it even more. This looks like a difficult shot to capture, and you did so very well. You meet the theme very well with the racquest strings. I love how the raquest is sharp, but you've got the blurred motion of the birdie. The neon yellow really grabs attention, too. I like the fact that your background has some blue in it instead of an all black background. The only thing I can comment on to improve is your background. I find the wrinkles in the fabric to be alittle distracting, but it's a minor detail. Good job and good luck in the challenge. |

I really enojoy this picture because of the action shot that was taking place. I like how the light is used in this picture. I dont think that the way this picture was shot could be done much better. Nice Job |

I like the movement and the vibrant color of what I assume is a shuttlecock. The lighting is good, and the crop shows enough of the racket to visualise the concept without distracting too much from the (square) strings. |

Very creative in subject matter and composition. I like the yellow and blue contrast too. |

This has it all - interesting lighting, unexpected action, finding a unique composition with squares in an ordinary object. |

Awesome! I love the flare of yellow! Unfortunately, though, it looks like you're going to smash the birdie into your background... |

HEY, you threw the shuttlecock didn't you? lol. That's ok, still a wonderful image, although I don't know why people would be playing badminton at night! |
