Interesting staging and set-up. The sepia is a little strong for my tastes, but I like the feel it gives the photo.

Now this is an excellent shot. Being more literal (and less abstract), I can definitely see a whole sad story in this photo. We actually have some poorer cats in our neighborhood - they have no forks or matches. ;-)

Nice setup. I'm typically not a fan of B&W pictures, but I like this one. You've paid attention to the details and got a picture that can be stared at for a while.

you would have convinced me more is there wasn't cat food in the cans. too bad.. otherwise a very interesting conception and composition. 8

Its complecated compozition but i like idea. Though not sure which you ment as central object food or picture cuz your focus is just on one. And toning ...i think its not best color for making picture look poor.
