I shot this at the top of Palmer Park, overlooking Pikes Peak and the Front Range of the Rocky Mountians. I laid on the ground and shot up at a slight angle from about 40 feet away. He was very high in the air, but I did have to clone out a few tree tops from the bottom of the frame. The yellow/gold color comes from the sunset...
Canon 10D with 70-200mm F4.0L, no flash 1/1000, f8.0, ISO 400.

Aha! I remember this from the action thread. You've certainly captured the feeling of flight and did an excellent job at stopping the action while still implying plenty of it. The guy contrasts well with the stormy background to give an almost 3d feeling to the image. The white shirt seems to have a yellow cast to it and it's bordering on being blown out in places too. It certainly works as an action shot.
