For this shot to work (to me) it needs to retain fur detail throughout the subject. It's lost on the head due to a highlight. It's a difficult shot though, as exposing for the head would let most of the rocks go to shadow. Might have been worth it though. |

Is this a real animal? I don't know but it looks so unreal, a bit plastic look on his/her face...

Your composition is great, so is the contrast between the snow white of the fox and the green/grey of the rocks |

Wish I could get my dogs to sit still long enough to take a 'look into the lens' shot with them. Great color balance and use of thirds. |

Great capture... like those spotted stones looks pretty interesting :). Bit pitty about part of house in background. |
