I really do like this...it has a very mysterious feeling to it. It grabs your attention and you find yourself searching it for details and yet they are very few and limited.

The lighting is extremely good and adds to the entire composition. It really is a very strong entry and I feel it should have done better.

Cool job! He looks like he is apparating out of the blackness. Nice sharp focus, perfect subject for b&w

the lighting is brilliant, and the picture as a whole is great. the one thing that doesn't look right is the guys handless sleeve (i'm hoping h's not an amputee - apologies if this is the case). I can't see the point and it's a bit of a distraction. however, the darkness, the windows, every other aspect of it is great and is very artistic. 9.

I would think that this is difficult to do. Its just to dark for my taste.

A little dark, but I like the backlight on his face. The composition adds a feeling of comfort which is unexpected in such a low key picture.

nice contrast and i really like the windows in the background. i think they make this image work really well. I am confused about what the object in the middle bottom part of the image is... whatever it is, it is obviously not too important to the image (since the viewer is unclear as to what it is... perhaps an arm though).. I think it is a bit too bright there... or too much light is reflected off of it, compared to the very subtle face and window. otherwise nice image.
