Let's say I had too many plans of what to shoot. None realized the way I planned. Tried to keep my eyes open for many possibilities at once. Photographed ladybugs, cars, heavy machinery(wrong vantage points). I chased the clouds for days. Tried 4 different soft serve ice cream stands for another idea (soft serve top hairdo). Sounds like an adventure of sorts. Without the DPL in play I might've not submitted this shot as I didn't get the feel good vibe from it but I do like the concept and it was planned for b/w. Just two top/bottom horizontal shots. I left a bit of a seam between the two on purpose. The weather was mostly hazy that week and I tried to rescue what detail I could of the clouds and then shot the needle macro the evening of rollover. The shot is heavily inspired by Chema Madoz's work. Cheers!
