 Truly a "snapshot" with my cellphone.

I was sitting in the lower left seat... That's my book (borrowed from the cruiseship's library) on the seat to my right.

The day was GORGEOUS... Hot... but a tiny bit of a breeze... I'd brought a huge bottle of water with me... so didn't have to spend any money on liquids... and my two offspring who were with me went off to play. So, I read my book and people watched. I love both activities. :D

I loved watching this guy in front of me whose family also came and went and who was able to see the ocean from his chair. (I couldn't... so that aided the people watching.) He and his family had many beachside servers come and deliver stuff to them. On the last drink visit, the man asked the server to total the last two tabs... "How much is $24 and $27?" "Sixty-one dollars" said the server... "Do you need change?"

"No... Keep it", said the man.

I just smiled... and wondered how much money the server rips off happy, relaxed tourists for every day.

The guy was happy... his family was happy... I was happy... and I'm sure the server was happy. *grin*

Some sort of island bird landed in the tree above me a couple of times. I thought for sure he was aiming a large offload at my head... but nope! He was just eating the berries from the branches.

I even saw a hummingbird (twice!) humming around a coconut tree! So relaxing and fun!

I didn't get much reading done... and that's the best part. :D


Life is good.

Three 20's and a 10 would leave 9 bucks change, 15%. Now, if he gave the server FOUR 20's, THAT would be a tip... And a 100 would be an immense tip... Any idea what he gave? Jejeje.
