I really like the way the light creates a leading line into the arch, when I first looked at this image I felt like the corners of the building touching the arch was a bad thing but the more I looked at it the more I realized I like that it touches so perfectly, just barely touching evenly of both sides almost like it is wedged inside the arch. One of my favorites for the challenge and definitely one that made me stop a stare for awhile. |

Good example of challenge topic. the doorway plus its anti-shadow create a single framing shape that transforms the image. |

i feel as though i would like this image more if the building in the background and archway was centered, or more to either side making the image fall into the rule of thirds or golden ratio. love the cobblestone! |
