One night, after the sun had virtually dipped below the horizon, a small shaft of light managed to reach the eastern sky and light up a single cloud with a brilliant orange light. It lasted no more than a minute, but I happened to have my camera handy and managed a few quick snaps without using a tripod. This is the best of the lot.
