I checked and your file is just 42 kb. I did that because I see alot of compression artifacts in this and you know the maximum allowed is 150 kb right? No need to compress it that much. Otherways cute doggye.

Beautiful dog. OOF subject - zoom into his/her face. Grass is too busy.

Very noble looking :)

It looks like the focus is slightly off, maybe the focus is on the greass somewhere.
I would have cropped it different to get rid of the green in theleft bottom corner.
Nice dog.
Good luck.

This may qualify for a family album.

This might be a bit of a challenge but... To help separate the dog from his surroundings, I think a shallower depth of field (blurring more of the grass in front and behind the dog) with a better focus right on the dog (right now I think some of the grass is sharper than the dog) would help. Lighting could also be used to help separate the dog.

Beautiful dog. I hope to see more photos of him in the futuer. I would offer 2 suggestions for this one: first, the focus appears to be a little soft (this is something I'm still struggling with myself!) and second, I think placing his eyes by the rule of thirds would have helped the composition (I know it's a guideline and is not appropriate in all cases, but still think it would have helped here.) :)
