I checked and your file is just 42 kb. I did that because I see alot of compression artifacts in this and you know the maximum allowed is 150 kb right? No need to compress it that much. Otherways cute doggye. |

Beautiful dog. OOF subject - zoom into his/her face. Grass is too busy. |

It looks like the focus is slightly off, maybe the focus is on the greass somewhere.
I would have cropped it different to get rid of the green in theleft bottom corner.
Nice dog.
Good luck. |

This may qualify for a family album. |

This might be a bit of a challenge but... To help separate the dog from his surroundings, I think a shallower depth of field (blurring more of the grass in front and behind the dog) with a better focus right on the dog (right now I think some of the grass is sharper than the dog) would help. Lighting could also be used to help separate the dog. |

Beautiful dog. I hope to see more photos of him in the futuer. I would offer 2 suggestions for this one: first, the focus appears to be a little soft (this is something I'm still struggling with myself!) and second, I think placing his eyes by the rule of thirds would have helped the composition (I know it's a guideline and is not appropriate in all cases, but still think it would have helped here.) :) |
