Still having fun playing with macros. Had to level adjust the shadows a tinge darker to rid the shot of the frigging lines my macro lenses have been putting on pictures.

very moody, the darkness of the image works well.

what the hell is this!

It's tough to pull off an intentionally low-light shot like this. Maybe some low lighting on the candle to get it to glow a little more might help.

cool.

nice smoke curls -- it gives motion to the picture

love the dof in this shot. really nice!
04/26/2002 07:29:00 PM
nice shot

Intersting. I don't think I would have had such a shallow depth of field so the smoke would be more in focus.

I really like the mood of this shot. Though it may be a bit too dark. Very nice shot!

Cool! I think I need to hit the sack too. I like how you shoot the smoke blowing to the side.
04/23/2002 03:53:00 PM
Candle? Maybe just a little too close.
04/23/2002 03:48:00 PM
Very Nice!!

I like this image, both as an interpretation of transition and as photograph

I like this concept, but the execution is a little off for me. Too much space on top, and not enough contrast for me.

g'night! :o) great example but too dark
04/22/2002 09:24:00 PM
okay, nice interpretation, good job catching smoke
04/22/2002 07:54:00 PM
good capture of the last light of the candle

Is this a scented candle? I had to look at this for a minute to figger out that it was a candle. I thought it may be incense or something like that. Just a little more angle with the camera and a little more substance in the photo without so much emptiness at the top would have been nicer! Good shot!

Need a little lower shutter speed or a wider apeture. It took me a few to figure this one out.

Sleep tight.
Whats the transition?
04/22/2002 07:46:00 AM
Nice subject, but not in focus.
04/22/2002 07:38:00 AM
interesting shot. Ember really needs to be in sharper focus, or sharpened a bit. Good attempt.
04/22/2002 07:05:00 AM
Very cool shot. A bit dark, but it fits. The angle is really cool.
04/25/2002 01:03:00 PM
Nice timing, but the focus doesn't quite hit the wick.
04/23/2002 01:39:00 PM
well shot good timeing
04/22/2002 02:10:00 AM
