I think this pic would have done much better if I'd managed to get the singer in focus instead of the microphone. When I realized it was out of focus I decided to take it a little further for style and soften it up with the contrast. |

Shooting in a club is very difficult. The background behind the singer hurts a bit... For a club shot in a challenge, I've found closeups of one band member tend to work better. But that's just me, and what do I know :) |

A tad out of focus, only silver mic seems to be in focus. |

I think there is a lot of raw energy here, the movement adds to that and the colours work especially having the singer in the whit light, thems the pluses. On the negative side you have what I call a "Presbyterian " photo, you actually have 2 good shots in one. I think my eye is drawn to the drum kit first then to the singer and lastly to the player, hovever in a funny way the composition works,.you could have a good shot of either the singer or the player here. if I was voting =7 |

stage shots are always cool. i wish this one had a bit more sharpness though.

It seems just a little bit out of focus but other than that, a great concert shot. |
