 As with black and white film, the monochrome Leica has the same results when using colored filters on the lens. In this case, I used a red filter to darken the blue sky and bring out the gentle white delicate cloud that was fortuitously passing by. In PP, I further darkend the sky just a touch with a gradient filter in LR.

This is west of the NCAR facility below the Flatirons in Boulder Colorado.

I actually know exactly where this tree is! It's one of my favorite dead trees which I realize sounds odd.

Spectacular. Was thinking it looks like Garden of the Gods but then I remember seeing photos of this tree at the Flatirons. Dennis, is that you? If so, lovely shot.
