I could see these wonderfully back-lit leaves from the kitchen window. They had a magical glow about them which caused me to stop what I was doing and go outside to shoot them.
I tried a couple of approaches but keeping the leaves out of focus was the best way I could find of capturing that glow. It was the quality of light rather than the detail that was making the scene feel special. Very little processing.
Clearly, based on the results, this image did not resonate much with the voters. Feedback appreciated.
