I would have cropped it tighter and adjusted the brightness/contrast a bit

What a cute dog. Good job. One recommendatiion ... try moving him away from wall when using your flash ... avoid distracting shadows. Still a really nice shot. Jacko. 8

Flash almost always leaves a shadow like the one to his left. I avoid using flash for anything but fill. But that's just me... Great expression and composition.

nice photo of your dog. he's in focus and the photo is sharp and the colors are good. Unfortunately, the flash has put his shadow all over the wall behind him, a common mistake we all make. Perhaps bouncing the flash off the ceiling may help.

Lighting is a bit harsh and the pose of the dog looks a bit odd.

Look at those piercing eyes. They are too much. Beautiful color for him to be laying on. Wish you could have gotten it without the shadow on the left. This is a nice clean clear shot. of the face. The pink blank bleeds over onto the foot for some reason. Nice background. Makes the dog stand out real well. Good job. Love that tongue.

Nice enough composition but I think that the lighting is a little harsh (as evidenced by the strong shadow on the wall).
